drama madness

i just finished a 18 hour drama marathon!

a journey called life

xiu must be very proud of me cuz she urged me to watch this drama! please don't be deceive by this poster. when i saw it, nothing excites me cuz i thought it will be a 'sportsman' kind of drama.

IT IS NOT.

hahaha. actually, it revolves abt marathon but definitely not the selling point of the drama. it revolves around many things about life and the scriptwriters brilliantly incorporated the idea of marathon into our everyday lives.

i'm not going to elaborate and tell you the whole story. but it goes like this.

1. chao ah lian who hates her dad and stepmother cuz she believed that they caused the death of her mum. but towards the end, she realised her mother is the real bitch.
2. chao ah lian, as usual, had many boyfriends, sex, drugs, alcohol..
3. lost her dearest friend to drugs.
4. almost got raped by step brother.
5. turns over a new leaf and managed to secure a wonderful husband anyone can ask for.
6. might be infertile cuz she had too many illegal abortions.
7. finally pregnant. but an accident caused by her sister in law caused her baby to die in the womb.
8. her sister in law just aborted her baby before causing the accident. (this part vvvv messy everything is happening but vvvv nice)
9. sister in law was so vain and materialistic that caused her death
10. husband finally broke down after being the pillar all the while. lost the will to do anything.

okay, i am bad at portraying the whole picture but this review i came across is damn good!

oh yeah, currently i am watching this drama too!

i have been anxiously waiting for the release of this sequel! spoilers alert, ding ding will die and it is damn sad *piang*

please watch the prequel and you will automatically be hooked to the sequel. heeheehee!

after watching it, i regretted not taking science in jc. LOL. their job is so damn cool. so my next best alternative is to be a COP.

oh yeah, linda chung is my favourite actress now. although my sister calls her a bitch everytime she sees her (cuz linda chung is frankie lam's girlfriend in forensic heroes and my sister LOVES frankie) i continue to ignore her. well her acting improved tremendously compared to shows like heart of greed and virtues of harmony (jie da huan xi). looking forward to more of her drama!

and shit! i've run out of things to watch. anyone can recommend me any? i know gossip girls is very suitable for someone so bitchy like me, but i need my dosage of hk drama! dou zeh! (i have been secretly learning cantonese cuz i opted for canto instead of mandarin while watching haha!)
