i went for job interview today. today i must say i am quite lucky because since monday, i have been sending my resume to 6-7 agencies and today, within 5 minutes i received a call from the agency.
she called me at 3pm, hoping that i will be able to reach shenton way at 4.30pm to their agency to take down my particulars and then make it in time to aljunied at 5.15pm for my interivew. WADADA! i made it all in time, or i should say earlier WITHOUT TAKING CAB. the one at shenton way is hard to find, and since i don have any sense of direction the journey was even more challenging then i've thought.
well, i finally found the building and i am supposed to go to th 17th floor. wth i took the lift it don't bring me to 17th floor, all floors except 17th! *(#^@*&#^*%&# as you know i am very scared to take lift, i had to go back to B1 and take another lift to bring me to 17th. yay i finally reached and guess what, i forgot to bring my IC although the girl reminded me to. SHIT MAN IT WAS IN MY PENCIL CASE. but the girl is very nice, they took my disgusting looking bus pass instead. hahahahaa.
before i left, i am supposed to fill in the application form for the job. there is a section on YOUR STRENGTH AND YOUR WEAKNESS. well, that section was the last i filled (it was 5 pages long) and because i was rushing for time (by the time it was already 4.40pm i need to reach aljunied at 5.15pm), i anyhow write lor. hahahaha. PLEASE, I AM REMINDING YOU, NOT TO FOLLOW MY FOOTSTEP. i wrote "might get easily confused at times, but i will clarify doubts if i have any".
why they shoot me leh? it is because they are a listed company, dealing with f&b, if i get employed i am supposed to check shipment dates and quality check. what do i mean by quality check, according to the girl, i am supposed to test taste all their coffee products, meaning to drink different types of coffee everyday. bleah i hope i don get diahorrea. so when the guy (big shot) saw my "weakness", he said "umm, this is tricky and risky. imagine the customer wants 10 cartons of chocolates, you report 10 cartons of coffee. how?"
me: *keep quiet and smile* "but i will make sure i clarify everything before i pass down any message."
the guy: "ya, but you must understand we cannot give you 1 yr to clarify everything"
me: *thinking* wth wtf *&^#*@&%#&% hahahaha
what the fark they use this sentence to shoot me in the whole interview upon reaching their office. arghhh. they will call me tml to check if i'm EMPLOYED. hahahaha. i doubt i will get it lah anyway. but i learn something today and hope to share with all of you looking for jobs, THINK ABOUT YOUR STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS, and think of positive stuff that won't do you any damage!
anyway, i'm off to play badminton and change my phone. it died on me today. sian please ask your relative/friends not to be deceived by hp by its cover. i am a very good example.
time to share some pics to brighten up my day cuz i met 2 sucky pple on my way home. first is the bus driver who scolded the pple in the crowded bus "can you move in? open your eyes lah talk and talk" wth i am very tempted to call sbs and complain. maybe i will later. 2nd, when i called hougang sports hall to book badminton court. YOUR ATTITUDE SUCKS!
