jiejie's wedding!

okay, although it was only the dinner. i still went to school and had 1 tutorial. supposed to have stats lecture in the morning but i was tooooooo tired to get off bed.

my sis and i started make-up at our house at 3pm. the make-up artist is an ex-mediacorp celafare. hahaha. forget her significant role but she is not bad.. told her i am going to wear something 'playful' cuz my dress is really short so she chose green and purple eye shadow for me. lol.

my dad, who claimed that he has a shorter way to shenton way, lead the way (we were driving 2 cars in case we need to send other guests home) but in the end my dad took a big circle + 2 ERP gantries. total damage was $4.30 per car = $8.60.

we barely made it in time cuz the solemnisation started shortly.

okay okay. before i zoom into the details of the dinner, let me show you the surroundings.. (actually, i never look around cuz i was busy with this and that)

the cupcakes were so pretty that no one dared to touch it (everyone thought they were fake) until my dad ate it. lol

then i proceed to my duty... being a zuo bo recep. why zuo bo? i am in charge of my relative's seating arrangement.. but as usual, no one followed where they are supposed to sit so my role there is almost non-existent haha!

they hired a band for entertainment. not bad!

after changing to the short dress, they went around taking pictures table to table for my bro in law's guests. then my sister went to change to the 3rd gown and it took her 30 mins... cuz she wore it the wrong way and had to change! hahaha!

the longest and loudest yam seng session i've ever had

after the yam seng, the parents were asked to stay behind... and my sis n bro in law presented their parents with OLYMPIC MEDALS for being 'best dad' and 'best mum'! so cute lah!

and my sister presented an individual award to the person she respected the most - my round papa!

hehehe. so cute right!

anyway, after the yam seng it was another round of photo taking. i will not upload the pics cuz there are too many........... there were 50 tables! meaning 500 guests! shag. SHAG.

glad that both the weddings are over. what's next? TESTS/ASSIGNMENTS/DEADLINES/EXAMINATIONS for me. :(

but i'm going hk/macau in jan! so, not too bad lah!

will update tml about our mooncake party. but it will depend whether kim will be efficient in sending me the photos since i'm lending rach my camera to taiwan. hohoho.
