MY WORKPLACE PART 2

firstly, i deeply apologise to those who chatted with me on msn this afternoon but i didnt reply you because i was busy FUMING and getting 'suan' (tease) by people in DIFFERENT depatrtments. for what reason - I DUNNO.

well it started on monday i guess. please refer to 2 entries earlier than you'll briefly know why. workload is never ending and the HR department is not really treating me very well, but i heck about that cuz i don't have to work directly under them. so the part about OT is a small problem.

next, personally i believe the saying 'practise makes perfect'. you know why? because in my department, i can excel in preparing the document to excellence because i do at least 10 of it everyday. however, if you dumb a document to me at most 1 per week do you expect me to do it fast and accurately? apparently i'm STUPID so i do it wrongly lor. even my NOTES never help me. what's even more challenging is that i am handed 3 at one go, plus other miscellaneous stuff that other colleagues passed to me. so i believe it is inevitable that i get BLUR sometimes. pardon me, I AM BLUR AND CONFUSED EASILY (as stated i my RESUME when i went for interview).

thirdly and what irritates me the most is GOSSIPS. as a temp (and introvert) staff, i hardly talk in office (okay alot on msn but still) and i didn't know i am SO popular. i'm in operations department and i always sense some people are always staring at me from other departments, sometimes laughing and giggling. i told myself that 'aiyah, don't be too sensitive lah. they talk about for what? you're not some celebrity'. wah apparantly i think i am angelina jolie lor, people from 3 departments are gossiping about me leh. i'm the female lead and there are 2 other male leads. people come and ask me "eh, where is your beloved _____?", "eh, how come your beloved ______ never help you to draw that thing?", "eh, you beloved tml got come to work or not?"

like, WTF???? am i their wives/worms in their stomach/hair/whatever??? 1 is my boss and another is my colleague. i'm working UNDER them and is there anything so interesting? i have very little faith and trust in people but i tried to be objective when i entered the company, treating everyone with my nicest gestures and helping people as much as i can. what do i reap? "oh that girl dunno why treat pple so well leh..."

i've shortlisted a few ones on "high alert", a few on "semi-alert" and some with "need to wear ultraman mask" (to block the things away). i'm really fed up with the accounts people today that i almost burst into tears (ok not burst lah but the anger is really building up as tall as taipei 101) can! moreover the work my supervisor ask me to do i did it wrongly! so angry with myself! i was so agitated that i emailed my agency to ask if "i can cancel the extention"!!!! think my agency is quite fed up but they earned my $4/hour leh, hahahha.

i'm really HAPPY and BLESS that i told them that I'M NOT GOING TO THE DINNER ON FRIDAY. wtf man! i will probably puke! i think my manager will talk to me regarding my problem tml since they (supervisor n manager) met today. i know it will be a brainwashing session, but i will voice out my unhappiness and do what i like - that's not being accused of.

i don't mind getting sack - cuz tt means my agency cannot 'eat' 50% of my pay. HAHAHAHAHHAA!!!!

oh yes, there are really DIFFERENT kind of people in an office. let me shortlist some of those in mine.

1. gossipers, obviously
2. self deluded, quite many too. (they either think they are super smart/super experience/super impt/super busy/super pretty/super sexy)
3. backstabbers (duh, i met 1 this evening)
4. bootlicker (ya me. to my manager out of unwillingness)
5. poor temp staff who get scolded
6. poor temp staff who are treated as invisible (u know why? cuz today there are 2 new colleagues being introduced into the company. the HR girl brought the 2 new colleagues to everyone and introduced them formally and when it was my department, the HR girl said "this is ____, manager of operations." they turned around and it was my desk with ME there. the HR girl saw me, and turned away. then the HR girl said "eh that is _____, executive...". am i really that fair and translucent enough to not able to spot me? what the hell like i care!)
7. pple like me who is forever complaining here. hahahaha

i think this entry is long enough. i will keep you guys updated whether i get sacked tml. HAHA. byebye!!!
