i'm finally back! *shug*

okay lets start with bintan!

supposed to meet rani 6.15am below my block but rani was late. i did not sleep the entire night cuz of euro finals. hahaha.. rani and i were the latest to reach tanah merah and the cab we took sucks! i almost died... it was worst than the ferry ride la.

i looked happy but i want to die at that instant.

we started writing the arrival card...

and we are on the ferry next! actually the ferry is nothing like what i imagine from esther's scary description hahahha... waves were much calmer than i expected.started camwhore as usual but shall not upload too many to make u sickon our way to our resort via the shuttle bus. initially we were suspicious when pple try to ask where we are staying... hahaha *paranoid*

yes! this is our kampung!shi wai tao yuan!after checking in, we went kayaking! photos taken during kayaking is done using the underwater camera jinpei and xiu bought from mustafa. photos are not collected yet so i will updated again after i get the photos! (edited: kim collected the photos and the photos are cui! resolution sucks! *sob* hahahaha)

after kayaking, we play for a while followed by dinner at pasar oleh oleh!transport was provided and the ride was even more exciting than roller coaster! the roads were dark, the driver was travelling at 120km/hr (i think) and the roads are so narrow lah! i even sat on the front seat and to my horror the seat belt is not working! *scream*as the dinner was our first meal of the day, we couldnt contain our happiness and confirm our order barely after we sat down. hahahathe ultra gigantic coconut which is bigger than my head! (to curb heatiness)moments later, we realised there is a rat running above us so we SCREAMED but continued eating after the rat ran off.life is good when there is food! *happy kids*the "MAD-GIC" school bus

we slacked in eliza's room (i think) and i fell asleep.. remember i never sleep the entire day??!!!the long-awaited breakfast!

the 'cui' breakfast! we thought there will be a buffet (so that we can save on lunch, haha) but everything is so salty! the ham is saltier than the sea water! we were even joking tt we need to go for dialysis when we are back in spore!)but it was raining in the morning... we were worried our snorkelling had to be cancelled!some of the seashells they collected. i did not bring any home cuz i know my mum will scold me and i will misplace them, haha!the bridge from eliza+kim huts to huiting+my hutsmy eye bag is still very bad despite being one of the first to sleep. haha.on our way to snorkel!

the chargers. i like their handwriting!the rest are bikini shots. *shy* so i shall only upload 1 jumping shot. hahasome baywatch shots. hahaaby this time, we had finished snorkelling and banana boat! they are so fun especially banana boat! so many internal jokes lol.you can never find this kind of clear water in sentosa, NEVER!mission accomplished!made our way back to wash up.. followed by swimming at nirwana resort!

kim and charmaine came to our room to get salompas from me. apparantly they grabbed the banana boat too tightly that they developed muscle ache.

dinner was once again at pasar oleh oleh but this time round dinner is not that good compared to the 'rat' restaurant.sky above uspaparazzi shot!

went back to our hut and i forgot what we do. i think we started playing UNO and heart attack. then eliza chased us back to our own huts. hahaha.

next morning when we woke up, it was raining!one last picture with our room and rachel in the background

after breakfst, we went swimming again!

while waiting for our turn to bathe.. we started playing old maid!playing 'cheat'acting stupid cuz i am too hungrymaggi mee rocksssssssss!kim's yakult pouch which we looked down on but is indispensable during this trip. haha!

after dinner, we saw this cute littttttttttttttttttle kitten! we were screaming when it tried to walk into the drain/hole. haha. 9 mad pple screaming here and there.we went back to the resort to wait for the shuttle bus back to ferry terminal.

we played old maid to distract ourselves from the bumpy ride...

jinpei is our newly double crowned old maid.yay! first overseas trip a success!

wahseh. okay, bangkok next!

i arrived in back home from bintan about 11pm and slept around 2am trying to send them the photos before i depart for bangkok the next day. i reached bangkok less than 24 hours later!

this is my first experience taking jetstar. quite an experience i must say!

the plane was soooooooooooo much smaller to what i expected. walkway was soooooo narrow!

the tray serves double purpose.menu on jetstar. my sister ordered their chicken sandwich but the chicken looks like char siew!

as there wasnt any entertainment, i brought 8 days up to read and i thought i was missing something huge!!
do you see anything familiar there? i read this paragraph 3 times (from the beach ball show) cuz i thought i was reading tinawu (hahahahahaha) instead of tianwu! i was still trying to recap whether did tina tell me about her first acting gig! LOL

flight was a little scary as the plane is more prone to turbulence (hahaha concussion in kim's dictionary) as the aircraft is smaller and engines are noisier. air stewardess not as pretty and older. oh my flight back, there is this japanese air stewardess whose complexion is worst than mine. go figure.

yay! welcome to bangkok thailand. if you like ah gua, please turn left. if you like guys, please turn right. if you all also don't want, please take a plane back to singapore. thank you~

their airport is very grand and nice!this is my first cab ride in bangkok. initially the driver wanted us to pay 1000 baht (approximately 40sgd) and we refused cuz cab fare there is not expensive! as we were given a complaint card to report to their authorities, the driver cannot do anything but to charge by meter. cab fare was 440 baht. see the difference!

my hotel lobby.my room toilet. the toilet is as big as my room!by the time we settle down, it was already 10 plus. we went to the night market below my hotel to walk walk and grab something from 7-11 and guessed what i saw!

baby elephant! elephant is regarded as god in thailand i think.the things they sell in their 7-11 are so cheap! their cup noodles is only 50 cents on average, the milo above is 30 cents. nothing is expensive there lah! *shiok*cute but not very tastyas most of the restaurants were closed and i am not that adventurous to try the food along the street... we ordered room service!

this is the only corn i bought from the street.room service is cheap! look at the bento set! it only cost me $10!!!! the pork cutlet is so gigantic! and there is salmon sashimi! on the left is par-tai, a traditional fried thai noodles and tom yam soup! shiok shiok!

then it was breakfast the next day! the breakfast has many cuisines ranging from japanese to western to indian!

that's all mine! hahahha! alot better compared to bintan definitely!lunch was at platinum mall, a shopping centre selling far east clothes at an average of $4 per piece, opposite my hotel. the food court has an extensive range of food! relatively more expensive compared to the usual street stalls but cheaper than our coffeeshop!sharks fin, $6. i ate bird nest on my last day too but i did not take any photo cuz i LS on the last day :(look at the amount of ice they give. but it only cost 50 cents for a big cup what can i expect?cute paper bag for a local snack!this is just day 1, stop number 1. and all mine! HAHAHA!

next, we hopped on to the hotel shuttle bus to siam paragon! yes opened my singapore's paragon shopping centre. it is also a high class shopping centre. we spend another 8k baht there (about sgd $320) buying wacoal bra and bags. and i was in their departmental store the whole time there i didnt know super junior was there! *tina must be screaming now*

their supermarket is huge! and they even have 1 salad buffet bar~an example of their scary traffic. hahaha

after breakfast, we went to this temple (not the famous 4 face buddha) to pray. the monks there provide 'personalised' service by chanting and splashing the water on us. hahaha.golden turtle! the first yellow/golden turtle i've seen and touched!the smelly fishes! omg they STINK!!!the fare hardly jumps. haha. that is just $1.60!chachuchak weekend market! 1 word- HOT!after chachuchak, we went MBK shopping centre! the place reminds me of lucky plaza and sim lim. many shops selling handphone (unlocked iphones in all mobile shops), pirated cd/dvd, clothes, tidbits... everything lah!i was sick of thai food so i opt for kfc! but sadly there are only 2 chicken wings left and i had to share with my sisters!on my last day, we overslept and missed our breakfast! i was so sad can, hahaha. we went platinum mall's food court for lunch and i LS the whole day! :( went for last min shopping before returning to the hotel to take our luggage. had plain noodle soup at this bar. food was not good and expensive!the airport's toilet reminds me of my kitchen sink2 hours later, i'm back on this sunny island! *shug* i have not counted the number of tops, bottom, shoes and money i spent. phew. i love bintan and bangkok!!!!!!!!!!
